Muromachi-Edo Period Nihonto JAPANESE WAKIZASHI - "Fuyuhiro 冬廣" - with Koshirae

NIHONTO JAPANESE SWORD WAKIZASHI - "Fuyuhiro 冬廣" -  Japan -
late Muromachi to early Edo period (1500-1700)

This Wakizashi is signed Fuyuhiro 冬廣 but not attested by a third party such as the NBTHK or NTHK.
According to historical documents, the swordsmith’s name Fuyuhiro lasted 17 generations from the Muromachi period(1460-)to the Edo period(-1868). During the Sengoku period (Warring state period), Fuyuhiro forged swords for high-class Samurai or feudal lords because of his popularity and the high demand for weapons. While we can’t conclude which gen of Fuyuhiro forged this blade, it was made in the middle of the warring state period. That implies a prominent Samurai warrior might have ordered this blade and used it on a battlefield.
The sword is estimated to be from the
late Muromachi to early Edo period (1500-1700). T
he Hamon is clear and beautiful with a very nice old polish. You can see the tamahagane steel, hada grains and forging patterns. The Tsuba does have a slight wiggle and Koshirae was remade at a later date but fits nicely.
Fuchi & kashira:
Peony/ Red copper inlaid with gold.
Meaning: Prosperity and glory. symbol of "strongly live vigorously"./ the Lucky charm.
Menuki:
chrysanthemum / Red copper inlaid with gold.
chrysanthemum is symbol of Agelessness and deathlessness and perfect state of health.

Blade length: 12.835 in (32.6cm)/ Sori: 0.236 in(0.6cm)
Saya length : 14.961 in (38cm) / Tsuka length: 5.906 in (15cm)
